About the role
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead technical projects in aseptic fill‑finish at its Cilag AG facility in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. The role involves designing, installing, and qualifying production equipment, infrastructure and utilities for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
- Manage engineering projects from initiation to execution, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Ensure safe execution of activities in compliance with EHS, cGMP, and corporate standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Business Units, QA, EHS&S, sustainability) and global teams (MAM LM Platform, Engineering & Property Services).
- Develop business cases to support project funding approvals.
Required profile
- University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of project engineering experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
- Strong organization, communication, and influencing skills.
- Fluency in German and English, both oral and written.
Required skills
- Project Management methodologies.
- Engineering design and qualification processes.
- Familiarity with FPX and Lean process certifications (preferred).
- Understanding of cGMP regulatory requirements.
