Senior Project Manager

About the role

ELLEON is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional development projects for leading Swiss industrial companies in the Zurich region. This full‑time, on‑site position requires a blend of technical understanding and structured project execution to drive successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate project activities, expediting, logistics operations, and conduct inspections.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, electronics, electromechanics, production, quality, procurement, and product management.
• Manage stakeholder communication, risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution.
• Prepare decision‑ready analyses, status reports, and steering documents for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, Business Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in complex technical or industrial development environments.
• Strong proactive mindset with clear communication and stakeholder influencing abilities.
• Technical background in electronics, electromechanics, mechatronics, or embedded systems.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, challenge assumptions, and drive decisions across interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience coordinating stakeholders across engineering, production, quality, procurement, and product management.
• Deep understanding of project governance, risk, issue, and change management processes.
• PMP, IPMA Level C or comparable certification preferred.
• Business‑fluent English.
