Senior Project Manager & Strategic Engagement Lead

About the role

Roche is seeking a Senior Project Manager & Strategic Engagement Lead to join the Business Operations team within the Pharma Technical Cell and Gene Therapy (PTC) organization. The role will drive high‑impact technical projects and lead strategic communication to advance Roche’s cell and gene therapy portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Define objectives, scope, timelines and budgets, and manage risk and performance for multiple complex local and global projects.
• Translate complex scientific and technical data into clear, high‑impact narratives for senior stakeholders and the broader organization.
• Manage internal branding, digital portals and large‑scale events such as Town Halls.
• Implement lean methodologies, best practices and advanced tools to improve operational efficiency, standardisation and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years of project‑management experience in the pharma/biotech industry; experience with cell and gene therapies is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in matrixed environments and bring clarity to complex technical landscapes.
• Exceptional English communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
