Senior Quality Manager / Responsible Person (Switzerland)

About the role

We are seeking a senior quality professional to act as the registered primary Responsible Person (Fachtechnisch verantwortliche Person – FvP) for import and export in Switzerland, ensuring safe trading of medicinal products in line with the latest regulatory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the registered primary Responsible Person (FvP) for import and export in Switzerland, ensuring compliance with MPLO regulations.
• Develop, maintain and execute the local Quality Management System in line with Swiss law, EU GMP and GDP.
• Decide on batch release or rejection for the Swiss market and ensure product specifications are met.
• Serve as liaison between local operational groups and Corporate Quality for GMP/GDP matters.
• Handle product recalls, authorisations and suspensions, and conduct Product Quality Reviews.

Required profile

• University degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or related life sciences.
• 5–8 years of experience in quality management within a GMP/GDP‑regulated environment and eligibility to act as a Responsible Person under Swiss regulations.
