Senior Research Executive, Public Affairs

About the role

Ipsos is looking for a Senior Research Executive for its Public Affairs service line in Geneva. The team helps public institutions, international organisations and private companies understand and strengthen their operations, communications and stakeholder relationships through high-quality research. The Public Affairs service line is described as the world leader in social and opinion research, working on political and public opinion polling, citizen and stakeholder management, social policy and sustainable development.

Key responsibilities

• Be part of the client servicing team during the project cycle.
• Work on the successful execution of projects with other team members and other Ipsos country teams.
• Develop research instruments, quantitative and qualitative, manuals and supporting documents.
• Develop reports and presentations for quantitative and qualitative studies.
• Work on insights to maximise the study impact for clients.
• Participate in client presentations and visits with other project team members.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in marketing research or social sciences.
• At least 3-5 years' experience in a research environment.
• Demonstrated interest in corporate branding and communication, and in public policy research for international organisations and corporate clients.
• Accountable for actions, commitment to meeting expectations, and ability to work in a team with flexibility and creativity.
• Quick learner, independent, with strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent report writing, interpretation of results and insight generation, and assertive, diplomatic communication.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English; good command of German is highly desirable, other languages an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS or R is an asset.
