Senior SAP Developer – BTP & Cloud Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior SAP Developer to lead BTP and cloud transformation initiatives for a fast‑growing client in the Bern‑Zurich region. The role sits at the heart of a strategic shift toward a clean‑core, cloud‑first SAP architecture, offering high visibility and ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the modernisation of SAP development across SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), extensions and clean‑core concepts.
• Design future‑proof architectures using Fiori/UI5, RAP and CAP.
• Act as the technical authority for SAP development topics and mentor internal teams.
• Manage and challenge external development partners and vendors.
• Bridge business and IT to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
• Contribute to strategic SAP transformation projects with a focus on clean‑core and cloud‑first principles.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on SAP development experience, preferably with exposure to technical leadership.
• Strong communication skills in German and English, able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
• Experience working with external vendors or in complex project environments.
