Senior Security Engineer / DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior security professional to lead the design, implementation and maintenance of DevSecOps pipelines at our Software Development Center in Zurich. The role combines hands‑on security engineering with cross‑functional collaboration to embed security throughout the software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure, integrating automated security testing and vulnerability management into CI/CD.
• Collaborate with development, security and operations teams to promote a shared responsibility for security and quality.
• Drive adoption of best‑practice tools and frameworks across the organization.
• Identify risks, define mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor system performance and security incidents, applying corrective measures as needed.
• Conduct project‑specific security risk assessments with local subject‑matter experts.
• Review feature designs for potential security flaws in C#, JavaScript (Vue), SQL Server, Kubernetes, Docker and Azure DevOps.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application security, DevSecOps or risk management.
• Deep expertise in threat modeling, vulnerability assessment and incident response.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM (or strong motivation to obtain).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to act as a bridge between technical teams and security stakeholders.
• Fluent English; German is a significant advantage.
