Senior Site Buyer

About the role

As a Senior Site Buyer you will support the sourcing and contracting of indirect materials and services for one or more Givaudan sites, ensuring cost optimisation in line with global and regional strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Advise site stakeholders on evaluation and pricing of alternative materials and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Lead sourcing activities including RFx, e‑auctions, supplier selection, negotiations and contract management.
• Maintain vendor performance, manage invoice discrepancies and ensure compliance with risk and sustainability criteria.
• Collaborate with global and regional category teams to roll out strategies and support total cost of ownership reduction initiatives.
• Update SAP data, manage catalogues and act as the first point of escalation for site procurement matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Commercial studies or related field.
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience in an international environment.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes and systems.

Required skills

• SAP procurement module.
• Use of AI and advanced technologies to enhance procurement decisions.
