Senior Software Engineer, Agents

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer specialized in AI agents to help build the next generation of intelligent developer tools. You will design and implement the core infrastructure that powers AI‑powered assistants, enabling complex technical workflows and actionable insights for thousands of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop the orchestration, tool execution, context management, evaluation, and trust frameworks that drive AI agent capabilities.
• Build reliable, secure, and observable backend systems that allow AI assistants to interact with data, applications, and developer workflows.
• Create and enhance agent‑based features for analysis, troubleshooting, and decision support.
• Develop systems around large language models, including structured outputs, context handling, and evaluation pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to define architecture, solve technical challenges, and scale the AI platform.
• Improve reliability, performance, and usability through proactive issue investigation and continuous improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best‑practice initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge as the platform grows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software systems.
• Hands‑on experience with large language models beyond basic prompting, including agent workflows, tool integration, and evaluation.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals with a focus on reliability, scalability, security, and observability.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments where architecture evolves.
• Self‑driven, capable of identifying opportunities and delivering projects independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within remote, distributed teams.
