Senior Software Engineer, Block Production

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer focusing on block production, you will strengthen Anza's Agave client and the broader Solana network. You will own the core pipeline that links networking to runtime, handling transaction ingestion, block‑production, and verification.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize block‑production mechanisms to boost throughput and stability.
• Develop efficient scheduling for block production and verification, ensuring fair resource allocation.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities within the pipeline.
• Improve scalability and performance to handle growing transaction volumes.
• Create and run comprehensive tests, including stress, fault‑injection, and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with protocol engineers, security experts, and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain thorough documentation and conduct peer code reviews.
• Design high‑performance shared‑memory interfaces for low‑latency coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with core blockchain infrastructure.
• Proven experience in block production, scheduling, and verification pipelines.
