Senior Software Engineer – DevOps

About the role

RIVR, an Amazon company, develops autonomous robots for doorstep delivery. The team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers rapid, safe software delivery for these physical robots.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for robotics software, including observability and telemetry.
• Automate infrastructure and streamline workflows in close collaboration with software and robotics engineers.
• Manage development environments using container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues.
• Document processes and guidelines to promote knowledge sharing across the team.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with C++ build tools such as CMake.

Required skills

• Containerization platforms: Docker, Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
• Version control: Git.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred).
• Robotics middleware: ROS2 (preferred).
