Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a forward‑thinking technology team in Switzerland. You will help build scalable, high‑performance digital experiences used by millions daily and contribute to innovative payment ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain high‑quality software solutions with end‑to‑end ownership.
• Translate business requirements into reliable, scalable implementations.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical incidents together with internal and external partners.
• Influence architectural decisions and continuously improve platform performance, scalability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, promote clean code and engineering best practices.
• Enhance system observability using tools such as Datadog, Kibana or Grafana.
• Support agile team processes, sprint activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver user‑focused digital services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience in complex business environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
