Senior SRE Engineer

About the role

This senior SRE position focuses on building reliable, scalable infrastructure for an international gaming platform. You will shape DevOps and SRE practices, contribute to technical strategy, and foster a strong engineering culture.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve DevOps/SRE practices, ensuring scalability, reliability and operational excellence.
• Design, operate and improve monitoring, observability and alerting systems.
• Participate in paid on‑call rotations and lead incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Automate infrastructure operations and repetitive workflows.
• Mentor teammates and promote Kubernetes‑native approaches across the organization.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE or related infrastructure engineering.
• Strong systems thinking with ability to identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions.
• Proactive attitude toward process improvement, automation and reliability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with software engineering teams.

Required skills

• Kubernetes and container orchestration (production scaling).
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, exporters, alerting.
• Scripting with Python and Bash.
• CI/CD, GitOps and platform engineering principles.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud (plus), AWS or GCP (plus).
• Ability to read JavaScript/TypeScript or Ruby code (plus).
