Senior Tax Advisor – Asset Management

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Advisor to join the tax department of a leading fund manager in Zurich. The role focuses on corporate tax, OECD Minimum Tax compliance, and a broad range of Swiss tax obligations within an asset‑management context.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Swiss corporate tax, OECD Minimum Tax (Pillar 2), VAT, withholding tax, stamp duty and related regulations.
• Prepare tax returns, forecasts and analytical reports for senior management and the CFO’s office, supporting tax planning initiatives.
• Develop and maintain transfer pricing documentation and perform related analyses.
• Assist in implementing new tax regulations within internal systems.
• Participate in national and international tax projects and collaborate closely with the legal department on complex, interdisciplinary matters.
• Coordinate process standardisation and tool development across the tax function.
• Act as primary contact for business units, external auditors and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Taxation or Finance; additional tax law certification is a plus.
• Professional experience in a Big Four firm or an international tax law practice, preferably with corporate tax exposure in investment environments.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss and international tax law, corporate taxation, and tax compliance/reporting.
• Familiarity with OECD Minimum Tax (Pillar 2) is advantageous.
• Analytical, conceptual and solution‑oriented mindset with high personal responsibility.
• Proficiency in tax software and strong IT aptitude.
