Senior Technical Consultant SAP Integration

About the role

Sika, a specialty chemicals company active in the building and industrial manufacturing sectors, is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant SAP Integration to join its SAP Technology team in Zurich. The consultant develops and manages complex integration projects while ensuring the performance, stability and security of SAP integrations, reports to the SAP Integration lead and works with SAP Development, SAP Basis and other SAP functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage integration architectures using SAP Integration Suite, SAP PO/PI, API Management and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define integration requirements and ensure end-to-end solution consistency.
• Keep integration interfaces running smoothly and resolve complex issues promptly.
• Promote integration best practices, security standards and performance optimisation.
• Support and mentor team members, review deliverables and support project delivery teams across the system development lifecycle.
• Contribute heavily to Sika's cloud adoption journey in the integration area.
• Stay up to date with SAP integration technologies such as Event Mesh, BTP, APIs and CDS Views.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience with SAP integration technologies.
• Fluent English; Spanish and German are a plus.
• SAP certification in Integration Suite or similar is a differentiator.
