Senior Technical Project Manager – FinTech (Switzerland)

About the role

This senior position offers the chance to lead delivery of innovative fintech and mobile products at the intersection of digital finance, payments and blockchain. You will work closely with product, engineering and executive stakeholders to turn strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps and successful releases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of mobile and fintech product initiatives, from discovery through deployment and post‑release optimisation.
• Own project forecasting, timelines and execution governance to ensure realistic planning and high predictability.
• Maintain project tracking systems and transparent documentation of progress, risks, blockers and dependencies.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and development‑ready tasks together with product and engineering teams.
• Facilitate cross‑functional communication, resolve technical and operational challenges and drive continuous improvement of sprint planning and estimation.
• Act as liaison between leadership and technical teams to align strategic priorities without unnecessary executive intervention.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, delivery or technical program management within fintech, financial services or other regulated sectors.
• Strong technical background in software development, quality assurance or business analysis, with ability to understand APIs, backend systems, architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record of managing cross‑functional software development teams and delivering complex digital products in agile environments.
• Deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban and adaptive agile methodologies, with ability to tailor frameworks to business needs.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
