Senior Techno Functional Analyst - Supply Planning & External Collaboration

About the role

Biogen is looking for a Senior Techno Functional Analyst in Baar to support its global supply chain planning operations, with a focus on supply and demand planning. You will be the primary IT expert for supply planning applications, working closely with business stakeholders to implement, support and improve systems, and you will join the dedicated Kinaxis Center of Excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main IT contact in Baar for supply and demand planning applications, especially Kinaxis.
• Support the implementation, optimization and long-term adoption of Kinaxis as part of the Center of Excellence.
• Provide hands-on application expertise: troubleshooting, enhancements, configuration and continuous improvement.
• Partner with supply chain planners and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Coordinate with global IT teams, application support, external vendors and business analysts to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
• Promote user adoption through knowledge sharing, training and support for business users and super users.
• Manage and prioritize IT requests, resolving critical issues promptly.
• Work with the Solothurn site IT and Material Planning teams to align site and global processes.
• Support planning-related master data management and integration between advanced planning systems and ERP platforms.
• Identify risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities while meeting quality and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in application development, delivery or stakeholder management in pharmaceutical supply chain environments.
• 6+ years in IT project management, application support, system enhancements, consulting or product management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning, especially supply and demand planning.
• Hands-on experience with advanced planning systems, preferably Kinaxis.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, including planning-related master data management.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical IT regulatory requirements, including GAMP 5 and FDA 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211.
• Ability to work independently as the main IT representative for supply planning in Baar while collaborating with global teams.
