Senior UX/UI Designer

About the role

As the first dedicated design hire, you will own and elevate the user experience across Flyability’s ecosystem, from the pilot app to desktop software used before and after flights. You will establish a strong, unified design culture in a low‑ego, evidence‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Product Ideation & Wireframing: map user journeys, create wireframes or low‑fidelity prototypes and advocate for the ideal experience early in discovery.
• End‑to‑End Interface Design: deliver pixel‑perfect mockups and dynamic UI prototypes with precise specifications for developers.
• Design System Ownership: build and maintain a global design system from scratch to ensure consistency across products.
• Usability Testing: plan and run online, remote and field usability tests, identify hurdles and validate ideas with customers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in B2B, SaaS or hardware‑adjacent software.
• Portfolio showing end‑to‑end work from journey maps and wireframes to developer‑ready UI.
• Hands‑on experience creating a scalable design system.
• Proven track record planning and executing usability tests and turning findings into design decisions.
• Strong communication skills to explain design rationale to engineers and product managers.
• Ability to work autonomously as the first design hire.
