Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer (Backend Focus)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer with a strong backend focus to help build and scale AI‑powered SaaS products. The role offers ownership of complex projects from concept through production, working closely with product teams to solve commercial challenges for a global customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex product initiatives, from discovery to safe production releases.
• Develop and maintain backend systems while contributing to client‑side and customer‑facing experiences.
• Design, build, and scale reliable SaaS features using modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
• Break down large, ambiguous projects into iterative, measurable deliverables.
• Use data and product insights to evaluate feature performance and business impact.
• Shape technical strategy, drive architectural decisions, and improve engineering processes.
• Mentor other engineers and foster a high‑performance engineering culture.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or technical leadership role.
• Proven experience in high‑performing, scale‑focused engineering teams.
• Strong backend engineering expertise with willingness to work across the full stack.
• Experience building enterprise‑grade SaaS products with complex technical requirements.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, and production engineering.
