Site Occupational Health Nurse Specialist

About the role

The Site Occupational Health Nurse Specialist provides comprehensive occupational health services to employees at the Geneva Business Center, supporting wellbeing and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role is part of the site emergency response team and works closely with business partners, HR, and HS&E teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver immediate first aid and emergency care for work‑related injuries and illnesses, coordinating with external medical services when needed.
• Manage employee health programs such as vaccinations, health screenings, and wellness initiatives.
• Provide health education and counseling on ergonomics, stress management, business travel, and chronic disease prevention.
• Develop and implement return‑to‑work programs and fitness‑for‑duty evaluations.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee health records in line with data‑privacy regulations.
• Calibrate and maintain medical equipment and devices according to standards.
• Collaborate with site leadership, HR, HS&E, and Employee Relations to identify hazards, conduct investigations, and promote preventive measures.
• Support behavioral health programs, including Employee Assistance Program and stress‑management initiatives.
• Prepare KPI reports, occupational health activity statistics, and advise management on health‑related issues.
• Participate in medical emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity planning.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification with a focus on occupational health.
• Experience in delivering first aid, emergency care, and managing workplace health programs.
• Strong knowledge of local and international occupational health and safety legislation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold medical ethics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
