Site Operations Controller – Ingredients

About the role

As a Site Operations Controller – Ingredients at Givaudan’s Vernier site, you will support the local Operations Manager, ensure compliance, integrate finance into operations, and drive process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the Operations team is aware of risks and opportunities, propose mitigation actions and follow up on execution.
• Provide interpretive and predictive operational and financial information to support business decisions.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses of monthly KPIs and deliver performance insights to Operations Management.
• Drive the investment process, validate business cases and monitor budget compliance.
• Manage the annual budgeting cycle, product costing and act as the interface with the Pricing organization.
• Participate in forecasting, long‑term planning and regular cost‑center reviews, resolving variance issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a professional accountancy qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of cost‑accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills to build trust with business partners.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Ability to simplify complex matters for diverse stakeholders.
• Team‑player attitude.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for financial modelling.
• Microsoft PowerPoint for presenting analyses.
• SAP FICO or comparable ERP financial module.
