Social Media Intern (6-month internship)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Social Media Intern to join our Zurich squad for a six‑month period. You will work closely with the editorial and brand communications teams to help create and adapt engaging content for our global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation and adaptation of social media content for various platforms.
• Assist in updating social media guidelines for internal and external partners.
• Monitor user engagement and contribute to community management across all channels.
• Respond to comments and questions, fostering positive interactions with our online community.
• Help maintain the Digital Asset Management platform.
• Support reporting and analytics of social media performance.
• Stay informed on emerging digital technologies and social media trends, proposing ideas to improve reach and engagement.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.
• First experience or strong personal interest in social media through studies, projects or previous internships.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere) – hands‑on experience is a plus.
• Interest in social media tools and analytics such as Brandwatch or Hootsuite.
• Detail‑oriented, rigorous, with a strong work ethic.
• Creative, proactive and comfortable working both independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal English; French or German is a plus.
