Software Architect – AI‑Powered Platform

About the role

Air Apps is looking for a Software Architect to define and oversee the system architecture of its AI‑powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner platform. You will work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall architecture and system design for scalable software solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, guiding engineering teams on best practices for architecture, coding, and scalability.
• Design high‑level system diagrams, data flows, and API structures.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services, frameworks, and tools to optimise performance, security and cost.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance and security across all architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in system design, cloud computing and micro‑services architecture.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Backend: Node.js, Python, Java.NET.
• Frontend frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.
• Databases: SQL and NoSQL, caching strategies, data pipelines.
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation.
• CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices.
