Software Craftsperson – Python & AI (Switzerland)

About the role

This position is for a Software Craftsperson specialized in Python and AI, based in Switzerland. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and AI‑native development, using AI as a co‑creator throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of engineering initiatives, from design to production stability.
• Design and deliver scalable, maintainable features with strong architectural focus.
• Identify and drive improvements in technical, product, and process inefficiencies.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate design, development, testing, debugging, and delivery.
• Contribute to DevEx and delivery improvements using DORA metrics and flow optimization.
• Support estimation, planning, and incremental delivery discussions.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring and guidance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and align on outcomes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years with AI/ML systems in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python (or TypeScript) and solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Hands‑on experience building production applications using large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude).
• Experience with prompt engineering and improving structured LLM outputs for business use cases.
