Software Engineer - C# .NET

About the role

Sirius Energy, a young and dynamic energy trading company, is looking for a Software Engineer in Lugano. As part of its Renewables Originator team, you will work with traders, originators and analysts with more than 10 years of experience and be responsible for the relationship with Italian renewables producers, helping to grow new renewables capacity and support the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and implementation of complex software systems, with a strong emphasis on reliability, scalability and performance.
• Integrate internal software systems with external SaaS platforms and market exchanges.
• Mentor internal quantitative analysts and give technical guidance to the development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on C# development.
• Experience with software architecture and design patterns, preferably in scalable, high-performance systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C# and experience with the .NET framework and related technologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with database technologies.
