Software Engineer – Connect Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Connect Platform team, building the backbone of a smarter, more flexible energy ecosystem. Based in Switzerland, you will work on backend systems, API integrations and automation that enable reliable communication between energy devices and digital services worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain API integrations with energy device manufacturers such as EV chargers and vehicles.
• Enhance platform reliability, scalability, observability and overall performance.
• Implement backend features and product‑level improvements that simplify device connectivity for customers.
• Create automation tools for integration monitoring, testing, troubleshooting and operational efficiency.
• Strengthen monitoring, alerting and reliability practices to reduce incidents.
• Define and improve service‑level objectives, operational processes and engineering best practices.
• Debug complex technical issues and deliver long‑term solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers and contribute to a supportive engineering culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience building maintainable, testable backend software, preferably with API‑focused systems.
• Strong interest in product‑focused platform engineering that connects applications, services and devices.
• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable backend architectures.
• Ability to improve existing systems through debugging, automation, monitoring and reliability enhancements.
