Software Engineer (Enterprise Experience, Backend)

About the role

This role is focused on building the backend capabilities that help large organizations operate complex developer infrastructure confidently and reliably. You’ll join a cross‑functional engineering team responsible for the administrator and operator experience, from scalability and upgrades to observability, security, and auditability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship backend features end‑to‑end, from design through production rollout.
• Design and implement database migrations ensuring schema compatibility and safe upgrades.
• Develop observability, reporting and audit capabilities for administrators.
• Build and maintain security‑focused backend features following enterprise practices.
• Investigate and resolve scalability and performance bottlenecks in production‑like workloads.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues reported by platform operators and enterprise administrators.
• Document technical solutions and implementation decisions for maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, RFC‑style design discussions and on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Professional experience developing and shipping production software with Go.
• Solid understanding of Go’s concurrency model (goroutines, channels, sync).
• Comfortable working with SQL, relational databases, schema changes and migrations.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills with good judgment on escalation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to surface blockers early.
• Self‑motivated and able to take ownership of technically challenging work.
