Software Engineer - Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer specialized in Infrastructure to join a partner company in Switzerland. In this role you will build and scale an internal platform that enables engineering teams to deliver software quickly, reliably, and with high quality. You will work remotely in a collaborative environment, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and artifact delivery systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, operate, and continuously improve a scalable infrastructure platform supporting CI/CD pipelines and software delivery workflows.
• Build and maintain reliable artifact delivery systems for consistent software releases.
• Optimize high‑volume CI infrastructure to increase engineering throughput while reducing operational overhead.
• Manage and enhance Kubernetes‑based infrastructure, cloud environments, and Infrastructure as Code implementations.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide platform capabilities and technical guidance.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline engineering workflows.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps, architectural decisions, and long‑term platform strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, operating, and scaling production infrastructure platforms.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible.
• Practical experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience managing large‑scale CI/CD platforms using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, Groovy).
