Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, test and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet functional, non-functional and security requirements. You will work closely with product owners, architects and fellow engineers to deliver sustainable, performant applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software applications with focus on quality, performance, security and maintainability.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical designs and implementations.
• Write and maintain unit, integration and regression tests; debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders in agile ceremonies, estimate effort and contribute to planning.
• Implement architectures that support long-term evolution and reduce technical debt.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Support deployment activities and contribute to DevOps pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Fluent in English and French.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in C#.NET, Java and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Linux environments, containers and cloud concepts.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
