Software Implementation Consultant

About the role

You will work directly with financial services clients to understand their requirements, configure a financial software platform and support successful implementations. The position combines client interaction with hands‑on technical work, including data analysis, testing and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Gather client requirements and translate them into platform configurations using established implementation methods.
• Collaborate with migration specialists to assess, validate and load data from various source systems.
• Set up and analyse data interfaces and feeds from external providers.
• Investigate technical and business issues, identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Test configurations, data and functionality to ensure reliable operation.
• Support user training and clearly explain technical solutions.
• Automate recurring tasks and improve implementation processes and tools.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in software implementation, application support, IT consulting or data management.
• Relevant IT training or a degree in computer science, business informatics, data science or a related discipline.
• Strong Excel skills and a structured, accurate approach to working with data.
• Confidence working directly with clients and explaining technical concepts.
• German and English at C1 level or above.
