Solutions Architect – Blockchain & Digital Asset Solutions

About the role

Blockstream is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and build secure, scalable blockchain and digital‑asset platforms for enterprise and institutional clients, primarily in the banking and financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end blockchain solutions for custody, payments, treasury management and other financial use cases.
• Define technical architecture, including API design, data flows, event‑driven integration patterns and deployment models (cloud, hybrid or on‑premise).
• Evaluate and select blockchain platforms, protocols and tools, ensuring compliance with cryptographic standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery, engineering and product teams to create buildable, testable and operable architectures.
• Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, system specifications and integration guides.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in solution architecture, platform engineering or enterprise system implementation.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, distributed systems and cryptographic principles.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and modern deployment practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams and geographies.
