Specialist Global Tax Reporting – Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Specialist Global Tax Reporting to join our team and support an international bank in Zurich. The role involves overseeing tax reporting processes, ensuring compliance with Swiss and international regulations, and acting as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production of client tax reports across multiple legislations.
• Monitor the full tax reclaim process and maintain the highest quality standards.
• Manage outsourcing partners related to tax reclaims.
• Handle Swiss stamp duty (Form 9) and supplementary tax (Form 182) processing.
• Update withholding tax rates in line with double taxation agreements.
• Assist with US regulatory reporting such as FATCA and QI.
• Serve as single point of contact for relationship managers and senior management inquiries.
• Monitor CRS reporting, automatic exchange of information, and FinfraG, MiFIR, EMIR transaction reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and transaction‑related tax reporting obligations.
• Manage technical implementation of new or existing processes and contribute to international tax projects.

Required profile

• Degree focused on Business Law, Taxation or Accounting.
• Current knowledge of Swiss tax regulations and banking processes.
• Generalist expertise in CRS, FATCA/QI.
• Professional experience in a bank, asset manager, consulting or audit firm.
• Understanding of investment products and their taxation.
• Strong analytical abilities and customer orientation.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
• Proactive, independent work style with a focus on goals and teamwork.
