Specialist Tax Reporting for Fund‑Investors GSA/DACH

About the role

We are seeking a Specialist Tax Reporting for Fund‑Investors covering the GSA/DACH region to join the tax department of an international bank in Zurich. The role bridges tax controlling, fund management and investors, ensuring optimal after‑tax returns and compliance with German and international tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the tax link between fund management, investors and external advisers, preparing and reviewing tax‑related key figures in line with the German Investment Tax Act.
• Prepare and review tax reports, calculate tax‑relevant data such as capital participation ratios and partial exemptions.
• Support fund structuring and due‑diligence reviews by providing tax advice during new fund launches.
• Serve as the single point of contact for investor tax queries and assist internal teams with day‑to‑day tax matters.
• Coordinate external service providers, including tax advisers and auditors, and perform quality control for the annual German tax compliance process.
• Monitor compliance with international standards such as CRS and AEOI.
• Participate in ad‑hoc tax projects as required.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Tax Law or Finance with further tax training.
• Professional experience with an international fund manager, custodian bank, third‑party administrator, Big Four audit firm or tax consultancy.
• Analytical, team‑oriented personality capable of translating complex legislation into accounting logic.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in German and English.
