Store Operations Manager

About the role

SUSHO, an acclaimed Japanese‑Mediterranean restaurant near Geneva, is seeking a Store Operations Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This hands‑on role is based on the floor, where you will actively support the team, anticipate issues, and maintain the high standards that have earned SUSHO recognition from the Michelin Guide and Gault&Millau.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service from reservation to departure.
• Be present on the floor to welcome guests, read the room, anticipate needs, and resolve any issues promptly.
• Continuously improve service excellence, including table management, pacing, ordering, and payment processes.
• Lead operational analysis, turning good practices into clear, repeatable procedures and training tools.
• Coach and train staff on standards, fostering a culture of consistent quality and hospitality.
• Support the growth strategy by creating scalable systems that preserve SUSHO’s personality and attention to detail.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in fine‑dining or high‑end sushi concepts.
• Strong presence on the restaurant floor with the ability to read guest needs and act quickly.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate processes and implement simple, effective standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and teach team members.
• Passion for Japanese cuisine and a commitment to delivering top‑tier guest experiences.
