Strategic Buyer – Sheet Metal Processing

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Strategic Buyer to join our team in Kreuzlingen. You will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for sheet metal processing and complex assemblies within a world‑leading technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commodity group and supplier strategies.
• Conduct worldwide market analysis and qualify new suppliers.
• Manage supplier risk and perform supplier evaluations in cooperation with Quality Management.
• Negotiate and maintain robust contractual agreements.
• Act as the technical contact for new developments and innovation projects.
• Identify, implement and document cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Technical or business administration education with further training in purchasing.
• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in sheet metal processing and complex assemblies.
• Fluent German and English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel internationally for business.

Required skills

• Proficient use of SAP ERP.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
