Structural Engineer – Pipe & Equipment Supports

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Engineer to ensure the safety and reliability of pipe and equipment support structures. You will work on static calculations, structural detailing, and the design of complex brackets in a modern 3‑D environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precise static calculations for pipe and equipment supports according to SIA, Eurocode, EN and ASME standards.
• Develop structural details and model load‑bearing structures using 3‑D tools.
• Plan and design piping systems, ensuring compliance with international standards.
• Design complex special brackets using the finite element method (FEM).
• Provide technical clarification and advice to customers and internal project partners in both German and English.

Required profile

• Studies in civil engineering (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor, Master) or a qualified metal construction designer (EFZ) with additional training in statics.
• Ambitious graduates are welcome; a structured training phase of at least one year is planned.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand force flows and load‑bearing behavior.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English.

Required skills

• Dlubal RFEM (or similar structural analysis software).
• CAD/BIM tools such as Tekla, Revit, or Plant 3D.
• Finite Element Method (FEM) for complex bracket design.
