Supply Chain & Inventory Lead, Advanced Synthesis

About the role

The Supply Chain & Inventory Lead for Advanced Synthesis (ADS) drives supply chain performance across ADS sites in Switzerland, focusing on inventory strategy, KPI definition and cross‑site process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimise stock levels and minimise excess inventory.
• Lead platform forums on cross‑site inventory topics such as excess inventory and customer liability.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for inventory projections, write‑offs and provisions.
• Monitor and analyse supply chain KPIs to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and cross‑site teams to design and streamline supply chain processes.
• Conduct regular performance assessments and provide insights to ADS senior management.
• Define and implement ADS‑wide processes (e.g., inventory reporting for S&OP) and ensure adherence across sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Proven experience in material and inventory management with a strong track record in KPI performance improvement.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data sets.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in matrix organisations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English (German and Chinese advantageous).
