System Validation Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced System Validation Technician to join our Turbo Quality team in Cham, Switzerland. You will work on end‑to‑end validation of electronic bike systems, collaborating with system and connectivity engineers to ensure top‑class performance and rideability of next‑generation e‑bikes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end user validation in development projects.
• Validate new firmware (HMI, motor, battery) through riding tests and toolchain validation.
• Test the Specialized mobile app and perform regression testing on released bikes.
• Define and execute delta validation protocols for firmware releases.
• Assist in hardware validation when changes occur.
• Document test results, follow up on findings, and provide feedback to quality engineers.
• Create reproduction test protocols for identified issues.
• Collaborate with System Engineering to design new test protocols.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in firmware, software, or embedded system testing, preferably in the bike industry.
• Responsible, meticulous, and proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is advantageous.
• Strong IT user knowledge (MS Office, Outlook).
• Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand.
