Tax Advisor – Cross‑border & AIFM Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Advisor with strong cross‑border expertise to support the fund department of an international bank’s asset‑management division in Zurich. The role focuses on corporate tax, international compliance and client tax reporting for AIFM structures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax and international tax compliance (FATCA/CRS) for funds.
• Prepare and review client tax reporting and transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Monitor tax regulations in foreign jurisdictions and assess their impact on the business.
• Support worldwide tax reporting initiatives from OECD and other authorities.
• Analyse tax implications of transactions and business proposals.
• Improve controls and processes, including implementation of technology solutions.
• Provide support during tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
• Participate in ad‑hoc tax projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, Economics or Finance.
• Professional experience at a Big Four firm or top‑tier law firm.
• In‑depth knowledge of Swiss and international tax law and transfer pricing.
• Understanding of tax accounting.
• Fluent English and strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
