Team Head Investment Management – Multi-Asset Boutique (Geneva)

About the role

Julius Baer is seeking a senior portfolio manager to lead a team of five Portfolio Managers within its Geneva-based multi‑asset boutique. The role combines client‑focused investment strategy development with leadership and risk management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of five Portfolio Managers, acting as first line of defence for risk.
• Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with client goals and risk tolerance.
• Ensure business continuity by providing backup coverage during manager absences.
• Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to match recommendations and products to client needs.
• Support Relationship Managers with client inquiries, mandate onboarding, and performance monitoring.
• Monitor mandate performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with the Bank Investment Committee’s strategic asset allocation.
• Deliver standard reporting and adhere to investment guidelines and restrictions.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience with a focus on developing team members and providing regular feedback.
• Strong track record across major asset classes: bonds, equities, currencies, alternatives, commodities, and external funds.
• Deep knowledge of investment products, markets, and regulations.
• Client‑focused mindset with ability to build strong relationships.
