Team Lead Pharma International FP&A - Enterprise eCoE

About the role

As part of the Enterprise Center of Excellence (eCoE) within Roche Finance, the Team Lead PI FP&A leads the Pharma International Financial Planning and Analysis team. The role combines strong business acumen and technical expertise with the ability to lead a team and manage business relationships in Commercial Finance across Pharma and the Roche Group. It is based in Basel.

Key responsibilities

• Synthesize complex data into clear narratives for leadership, covering Pharma International performance, commitments and variances.
• Use financial expertise and analytics to spot trends and risks early, giving strategic recommendations to the Head of PI Finance and the FINET.
• Lead end-to-end financial cycles (Business Planning, MTOs, T0, etc.), manage the annual calendar and maintain a single source of truth across Pharma International Finance.
• Challenge the way the consolidation team works, support PI Sales and OPEX SMEs, and identify standardization and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate across functions to align on financial stewardship and present to key executives.
• Act as the main link between Pharma Division, Strategic Finance, the US Commercial eCoE and FINET, clarifying the Pharma P&L context.
• Supervise and coach the FP&A team, and partner with Commercial OBC enablers on work packages, resources and individual performance.

Required profile

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting, with 5+ years of experience in a multinational financial management environment.
• Proven track record as a Financial Manager in commercial affiliates, with strong commercial and portfolio expertise.
• Demonstrated leadership and business acumen, able to influence decision-making at all levels.
• Ability to unite and align virtual, diverse global teams, and to simplify processes and eliminate waste.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
