Team Lead Product Engineering BiMOS (m/w/d)

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for an experienced Team Lead Product Engineering BiMOS in Lenzburg, Switzerland, to lead a team of highly skilled engineers and technicians within its semiconductor manufacturing operations. The role drives technical excellence, operational performance and continuous improvement, and sits in the Product Engineering BiMOS organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Product Engineers, fostering a high-performance culture
• Drive accountability and support employees through clear expectations, regular feedback and professional development
• Lead yield improvement, quality enhancement and cost optimization activities
• Own products end-to-end, covering quality, reliability, manufacturability and product performance
• Work closely with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Product Management
• Support the industrialization and transfer of new technologies and products into high-volume manufacturing
• Prioritize resources, remove obstacles and ensure strategic objectives are executed effectively
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Technology or a related field
• Several years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, product engineering, process engineering or quality engineering
• Proven leadership experience building, motivating and developing high-performing teams
• Ability to close performance gaps through coaching, feedback and structured development plans
• Fluent German and English are mandatory
