Team Lead Supply Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Team Lead Supply Specialist to drive NPI (New Product Introduction) supply chain activities for assigned business units. The role ensures timely industrialisation of new products, manages the hand‑over to serial production and guarantees supply readiness for NPI orders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute NPI supply chain tasks, coordinating supply specialists across projects.
• Ensure smooth transition from development to serial production and maintain order fulfilment.
• Act as primary interface with Product Management and R&D to align strategy and priorities.
• Implement Design for Supply Chain (DfSC) principles, multi‑sourcing, lead‑time optimisation and resilient supply chain design.
• Collaborate with Category Management on sourcing strategies, supplier selection and onboarding.
• Identify cost‑of‑goods‑sold (COGS) optimisation opportunities while balancing cost, quality and risk.
• Oversee supply chain master‑data setup and adherence to Product Approval Workflow and PLM processes.
• Coach, develop and manage a team of Supply Specialists and act as escalation point for supply risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–7 years of experience in material planning (MRP), inventory management or related supply chain functions.
• Strong knowledge of APICS certifications (CSCP or CPIM) is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects in a high‑mix, low‑volume environment.
