Tech Lead – Android Core Product

About the role

We are looking for a Tech Lead to own and drive major Android features for a fast‑growing mobile product used by millions worldwide. The role blends hands‑on development with architectural leadership, product thinking and a strong focus on quality and accessibility.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of major Android features, collaborating closely with Product and Design.
• Shape the Android engineering direction through architectural decisions and technical leadership.
• Monitor and improve reliability metrics, proactively addressing technical risks.
• Review pull requests, provide feedback and uphold high engineering standards.
• Respond to critical incidents and resolve unexpected technical challenges.
• Manage feature releases and provide nightly builds for QA testing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Android.
• Strong familiarity with Android components and production‑quality app development.
• Excellent hands‑on expertise in Kotlin and modern Android libraries.
• Deep understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture and testing principles.
• Product intuition and empathy for users with diverse learning needs.
• Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
