Technical Project Manager / Business Manager

About the role

We are a well‑established engineering and technical services firm seeking a Technical Project Manager / Business Manager to own client relationships, drive commercial growth and lead complex technical projects from inception to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships, identify new business opportunities and prepare technical/commercial proposals.
• Lead technical projects through planning, execution and hand‑over, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality.
• Prepare cost estimates, manage project budgets, oversee purchasing and monitor profitability.
• Negotiate contracts, manage commercial agreements and ensure invoicing and reporting accuracy.
• Lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary technical teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing technical projects and commercial contracts.
• Strong business development, client management and negotiation skills.
• Proven leadership ability with excellent organisational and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Fluent French (written and spoken); additional German, English or Italian is a plus.
