Technical Project Manager – SAP Transformation

About the role

Join a global transformation initiative as a Technical Project Manager, leading complex SAP migration workstreams across international teams. You will be responsible for delivering SAP RISE transformation projects from planning through to successful delivery, coordinating both business and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple SAP migration workstreams, ensuring delivery within scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage SAP RISE transformation projects throughout the full lifecycle, from planning and coordination to execution and final delivery.
• Coordinate collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional contributors across Europe.
• Facilitate technical discussions, understand proposed solutions, and support decision‑making without hands‑on implementation.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress, ensure timely completion of milestones, and provide clear status reporting.
• Drive execution excellence and maintain focus on achieving project goals and business outcomes.
• Support communication and alignment between teams located in Europe, including regular travel to project sites.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably on large‑scale SAP transformation or upgrade projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP upgrade projects and technical delivery processes.
• Experience with SAP‑related database migration projects, especially Oracle to SAP HANA migrations.
• Previous involvement in SAP RISE projects is a strong advantage.
• Ability to grasp technical concepts, participate in technical discussions, and facilitate decisions between technical and business teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in an international environment.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); German is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project locations across Europe.
