Technology Transfer Lead (80-100%)

About the role

The Technology Transfer Lead will drive technical transfer activities for sterile GMP drug product manufacturing at Lonza's Visp site. This fully site‑based position supports real‑time collaboration and ensures the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead setup, scale‑up and implementation of technical manufacturing processes for sterile GMP drug products.
• Manage technical activities from clinical development through first commercial launch, including GMP change management and deviation handling.
• Provide on‑site technical support, documentation, and drive innovation projects that generate IP and scientific publications.

Required profile

• PhD or Bachelor/Master degree in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, chemistry, biochemistry or related field, with extensive biotech/pharma experience.
• Strong communication, planning and organizing abilities, including project and risk management.

Required skills

• Aseptic product manufacturing for protein drugs.
• Lyophilization processes and experience with prefilled syringes.
• Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) knowledge and technical writing.
