About the role
The Institut International de Lancy is seeking a qualified Theory of Knowledge (TOK) teacher for its International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. You will join a multicultural community of over 1,500 students, delivering TOK to secondary‑level learners and fostering critical inquiry.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess TOK lessons in line with IB standards.
- Manage classroom dynamics and maintain a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with subject teachers across disciplines to integrate interdisciplinary inquiry.
- Prepare students for TOK assessments and contribute to the school’s IB coordination team.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
Required profile
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) and experience teaching secondary pupils.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience with Theory of Knowledge or the IB Diploma Programme is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
