- Prepare first drafts of case studies for review by the Senior Adviser and banks, and keep a source log of what each bank supplied.
- Gather and review supervisory and industry sources for each module of the Operational Playbook.
- Produce a research/evidence pack per module: summarized findings, verified APA 7th citations and working links.
- Draft Operational Playbook modules and components to the provided template and house style.
- Manage the publication review process, internally and externally, with the Communications and design teams.
- Help redesign the Risk Centre website: manage and sort resources, advise on filing options and user experience.
- Support Risk Centre operations (email, calendar, website updates, member lists) and coordinate with members, partners and other UN teams.

- Student in the final year of a first university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent), a Master's or PhD programme, or a graduate who starts the internship within one year of graduation.
- Academic background in economics, social sciences, natural sciences, environmental science, public policy, sustainable development, business administration, finance or a related field.
- Fluency in oral and written English; English and French are the working languages of the UN Secretariat.
- No professional work experience required, but the field of study must be closely related to the internship.
Required skills
- Familiarity with risk management, banking or prudential regulation, sustainability or E&S risk, or related fields.
- Ability to analyse institutional documents such as bank risk frameworks and supervisory guidance and synthesize them into structured templates.
