Vice President, Field CISO – Financial Services (Europe)

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Vice President, Field CISO for Financial Services in Europe. The role sits at the front line of Mastercard’s security portfolio, engaging directly with senior security leaders of leading financial institutions to shape strategic partnerships and drive cyber‑resilience across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives such as CISOs, CIOs, CROs and Board members.
• Provide strategic guidance on cybersecurity, cyber‑resilience, fraud, digital trust, risk management and emerging technologies.
• Translate complex security concepts into clear business outcomes, risk reduction and competitive advantage.
• Lead executive briefings, advisory sessions and strategic customer engagements.
• Capture customer insights and market trends to influence product, engineering and innovation roadmaps.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales and Services teams to align solutions with enterprise security needs.
• Identify emerging market opportunities, customer requirements and security challenges.
• Represent Mastercard at industry conferences, executive forums and CISO communities.
• Develop executive‑level content such as presentations, white papers, blogs and market perspectives.
